Getting Addicted:The Prescription Drug Nightmare
Recently, with so many powerful, designer painkillers, sedatives, and stimulants being introduced to the market, there has been a marked increase in the number of people becoming addicted to prescription drugs. Though these drugs may actually be helpful and work perfectly fine when used appropriately, many are highly addictive and have become a nightmare for those who have both knowingly and unknowingly fallen into the prescription drug trap.
Addiction Does Not Discriminate
Farewell Michael….you will be missed. I hope that your passing will help others see that addiction plays for keeps and takes no prisoners. It’s cunning, baffling and powerful and no amount of fame and fortune can keep it from from infecting anyone it comes across. It’s never to late to get help, just ask and someone will extend the hand.
